The passion about technology and creativity stayed with me since I was a child. I gave the first steps on the 80´s when home computers were first introduced in my country, Argentina, and then I began to experiment generating applications, games and animations. This new world that was opened to my eyes caught me completely, and created a strong vocation in me. This situation stimulated me to study Cinematography, Graphical Design and certain subjects of the careers as Philosophy and Arts, who provided me these new expressive means still were not relying on careers that should represent them.
I began my professional career as a programmer, creating applications that were incorporating animation and programming, where the technological development and the artistic one could be mixed. Then, I intended for the routes of the post-production and motion-graphics, where the development with 3D systems and software are in a moment that requires investigation in both areas.
In the beginning of my professional career, I achieve work permission from the United States, where I lived for two years doing different working experiences, in some local studios or by myself.
With a strong esthetic and experimental vocation I continued my way developing visual effects for cinema and branding, forming like supervisor of visual effects with an special interest in 3D and in the narrative language that emerge in this new technologies.
In 2007 I founded Shango Films, a company located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that specialize in visual effects for film and television industries, generating middle and large scale branding productions for the most important companies in the region.
Then, Shango began to diversifying their creative services incorporating the provision of videomapping, which allowed us to developed specialized contents for Argentine Bicentennial in 2011, creating a show of great magnitude and spectacularity that was appreciated by millions of people who participated in street celebrations, in the city of Buenos Aires.
Under my supervision and direction, Shango also faced the integral Opening Ceremony of the 2011 Copa America, where we developed a large-scale show in the game field that has involved the use of technology, projections on a large sphere placed in the middle of the stadium, and the participation of over a hundred different dancers, who performed choreographies with an special costumes that has included the use of Leds. In this project I worked as Creative Director of the show, thus gaining experience in large-scale events and international reach.
Another of the most important projects we do in Shango at this stage of growth was the 2011 and 2012 Stand for Yacyretá in Tecnopolis -the great stable fair of Science and Technology led by the National Government-. There we create all visual contents, that includes some special interactive displays, and a documentary film where coexist a traditional cinematography narrative with the post-production tools. The interactive displays were installed -fully made by us as research and development- allowing multiple users to interact simultaneously in applications getting a great attraction for the event.
In 2012 I left Shango to continue my professional and artistic career independently, offering my services and experience to different studios and customers, both local to internationals ones, with the idea to keep the best quality work and creative originality.
Current areas of my professional performance covering both performing and visual effects film narrative, as the direction and conducting of shows with videomapping and interactive technology.
