nina marie barbuto
Nina Marie Barbuto (b. 1984) is completed the Mediascapes Master of Architecture Program at Southern California and has a Bachelors of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.

In her recent work, Nina has been exploring the potential of an Inhabitable Organism, or buildings or dwellings with their own metabolisms and work in symbiosis with their inhabitants. Her works also include architecture, film, sound, and art installation often with the idea of recycling noise into the system or elevating the vernacular spectacular.

In 2004, Nina Barbuto was featured in the Concept Architecture show at Future Tenant Gallery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for her Annex to the Carnegie Museum of Art (proposed). In 2006, her proposal for Albright-Knox Gallery was on display at the institution in Buffalo, New York. Nina Barbuto and Jenna Kappelt collaborated in the "Ta-Tas" show in 2006 at The Frame in Pittsburgh. Her Brascape was a feature installation at Inmo Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles in 2007. In 2008, her film, I Love You, Los Angeles was screened at SiteLA Gallery in Los Angeles. Brascape was recently featured at hiChristina Gallery in the Lower East Side, NYC in 2008. She is one of the founders for I Made It! Market and a member of the Get Rid Of White Walls Collective (g.r.o.w.w.).
