N.J. Phillips is a Film/Video graduate from Grand Valley State University. She currently resides in Chicago, Il and is a freelance film editor. One of her favorite movies is Everything Will Be Ok (Don Hertzfeldt, 2006) because of its enlightening story and carefully composed "moving windows." Her works are perspective-based and research interests include body control and disability, identity, and expressions of pain. N.J. spends her time learning about the world of electronic arts.
