Fled the midwest in my youth. Lived and worked in Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, San Francisco, Dallas...but I inexplicably returned to the no coast a few years back. I am currently serving a 10 to 20 stretch. The parole board keeps turning me down.
My Guiding Principles...
1. Never, Never, Never (Ever!)...Zoom.
2. Always park in the shade.
3. Back in the day if you heard, "We'll fix it in post" you were in trouble. Not so much anymore.
4. Never screw with teamsters. (Though...one of my favorite jokes is "How can you spot the teamster's kids? They are the ones reading the paper, eating doughnuts watching the other kids play."
5. Don't drop the names unless you can prove that you know or have worked with them.
