The Nokia Shorts 2011 jury comprises the combined experience of some highly successful figures from filmmaking and the creative industries. This panel of judges came together to bestow the award for best mobile motion picture on one of the eight finalists who premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Bob has been a pioneer in the advertising and communications industry for over three decades. He leads the vision for R/GA, one of the world’s most influential advertising agencies, emphasizing the importance of integrated strategies, creative excellence, and innovative technology. The agency has offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco, and internationally in London, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Singapore.

Jalmari is an award-winning Finnish film director and screenwriter. He has directed commercials, short films and music videos. His first feature film, Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, premiered in December 2010 to critical acclaim. Jussi, first explored the dark origins of Father Christmas in a pair of YouTube shorts which follow skilled trappers in Lapland who hunt wild Santas and train them to be child-friendly Christmas icons. A talented guy.

A communications pioneer and technology futurist, Steven has collaborated on award-winning projects across a range of media, from Hollywood filmmaking to Wired Magazine, from interactive media to global advertising. He has created interactive brand experiences and corporate transformation programs for a diverse array of leading companies including UPS, HP, Amgen, Microsoft and Ericsson.

At Vimeo, Jeremy co-created the first Vimeo Festival + Awards and he also works on creative strategy across brand partnerships and editorial vision. Jeremy is an award winning creative director and filmmaker. He is based between London and New York. During the past fifteen years Jeremy has worked with Warner Brothers, PlayStation, Kswiss, Nike, Red Bull, Diesel, Royal College of Art, NYU, Babelgum, TED, Britdoc, Tribeca Film Festival, Warp Films, Parlophone Records, Eclectic Method and Arts Alliance to name a few. At RES Media Group he was Director of International Operations and Senior Programmer for the maverick digital festival RESFEST. He became Head of Programming for the final festival in 2006. As a filmmaker his film The Last Supper traveled to over a dozen festivals including Sundance and as a cinematographer he shot over 40 short films. He graduated with honours from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He sits on the advisory board of Cinelan and Hide and Seek.
