Tme Complete History of Drinking in the Northern Quarter is a new trans-media arts project celebrating 240 years of drinking and thinking in the Northern Quarter, Manchester, UK. From the industrial revolution to the digital age - stories, photos, films, songs and memories are being gathered now. They will infom the content of a hyper-connected cross-platform mix of digital and live media to include web and social media channels and live events in the bars and alleyways of the Northern Quarter in 2012.

Boxers, drag queens, mill workers, musicians, Methodist preachers and Marx and Engels – nowhere has a story quite like this one.
