University of Mississippi Media and Documentary Projects is a division of the Center for the Study of Southern Culture and is affiliated with the Meek School of Journalism and New Media. MDP produces short and feature length documentary films with partners like the Southern Foodways Alliance and radio programs such as “Highway 61″ and “Sounds of the South.” MDP provides internships to Ole Miss students and teaches documentary and video production classes for the university.

    I think that the meet was at Millsaps. In the background you can see the observatory which is still there. Lots of changes have taken place since those days.
