Born 1971 in Germany - Pfaffenhofen, a small town in the north of munich, bavaria.

Started playing guitar when I was 13. Listened to Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Mike Stern, George Benson, Santana...

Moved to Vienna/Austria in 1992, to study jazz-guitar with Les Wise at the so called AIM (American Institute Of Music). Unfortunately the school doesn't exist anymore since the mid-nineties. At that time I started to play flute, because I found it a nice addition, unique combination and I just love the sound of course.

Always played electric guitar. Got my first acoustic (steelstring) guitar just a few years ago (2004 I think). Now I even prefer it (well, this may probably change from time to time).
