Omri's first directing break came just a year ago when he entered a music video contest for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. His video for the song "Charlie" is a journey through the history and the music of RHCP in the form of a red VW bus, and the young RHCP road trippin' through the California landscape and picking up characters from their music, videos, and personal history. The video moved frontman Anthony Keidis to tears and became the official video for the song and the last RHCP video to date.

Next, Omri was commissioned by Universal Music to create viral webisodes for the band Shiny Toy Guns.

In the summer of 08 Nike Mexico commissioned Omri to direct an inspirational video about an emerging Nike Plus runner in Mexico City. He had a chance to direct in Spanish for the first time.

This led immediately to a commission from Nike do Brasil to direct 2 commercials for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The results and reactions at Nike headquarters were amazing and led to a commission to create an entire campaign for the 10k Human Race Marathon that would take place following the Olympics in 25 countries around the world.

The campaign is a retro comedy called "The legend of Santi", which features an Anti-hero non-runner who believes he is a hardcore running machine. Santi and his best friend/coach/agent "Pato" go on a mission to recruit the people around their barrio to create a team for the race and face off against Santi's arch nemisis Armando and his elite running team "cartel endorfina".

The campaign features a 7 episode short film, 8 :30 virals, and 5 stopmotions, and a music video. They can be found at:
