Well executed trailer, good hook makes me want to see more. Nicely styled with great colour and superior background music!

The real deal, boot strap film making at its best. The cast and crew were troupers committed to the whole process. Steve Balderson's swoosh tag line would be "just did it". Working with Steve taught me that any aspiring film maker should understand that making a film requires the passion of a child at play and journeyman work ethic of a person who knows that craft is all about trial, error and serendipity.

About Steve Balderson

Joined 2 years ago

Steve Balderson is an award-winning American independent filmmaker.

Film Threat writes, Balderson “makes movies that are so gorgeous that it's not unreasonable to say that, cinematographically at least; he's the equal of an Argento or Kubrick in their prime. Some people have perfect vocal pitch, Steve has perfect visual composition.”

His film, THE CASSEROLE CLUB, was selected by the U.S. Library of Congress for its permanent collection. That film collected 9 Independent Vision Award nominations, winning 5: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Kevin Richardson (Backstreet Boys), Best Actress for Susan Traylor, and Best Production Design. Critics praised it as “Magnificent, another tour-de-force by the best kept secret in American cinema.”

Roger Ebert gave Balderson's second film, the surrealist crime drama FIRECRACKER (starring Karen Black and Mike Patton) a special jury award on his list of the year's Best Films.
