Nei Kung is an ancient, secretive training regimen used by high level martial artists to make their body strong and integrated by rebuilding it from the inside out. Master C.K. Chu's The Book of Nei Kung was the first publication - in any language - to openly explain how to do Nei Kung. Different from Iron Vest training (where you condition the body to be tough on the outside by hitting it), Nei Kung training optimizes chi flow in the body by aligning all the parts of the body (from the cells to the bones, tendons, muscles and especially the fascia) so you are strong from the inside out. Unlike iron vest training, you are like a piece of iron wrapped in cotton. Since the early 1980s, Master Chu has been conducting workshops to get people started in this training. This series is a video of such a workshop. In the future, we will offer an improvement workshop and then a 10 hour corrections series.

Long held a closely guarded secret, Nei Kung trains internal power - it makes the body strong from deep down inside the bones and organs to the fascia that holds all our insides in place. A person who trained Nei Kung in the old days had an edge on the battlefield and didn't want others to have the same training. In the 1970s, students of Grandmaster C.K. Chu wanted to enter tournaments. Not wanting to see them hurt, Master Chu started teaching them Nei Kung. Realizing that it could help people who would never be entering the ring with their health problems, Master Chu began conducting workshops. Eventually, he published the first book on Nei Kung in any language - The Book of Nei Kung. Here, for the first time online, is Master Chu conducting an introductory workshop.
