An underwater-photographer's deep look into the shark fin trade
As you watch this film, more than 11.000 sharks are killed worldwide. 300.000 a day. Around 100.000.000 each year. This film is dedicated for these animals.
I'm Daniel Selmeczi, underwater photographer. I do not know exactly how many I’ve done, but I do know that I have never been under water without a camera. We have thousands of diving hours together. We have been to the Red Sea, the Caribbean Sea, Indonesia and the Pacific Ocean. No matter where we went, we have been looking just for sharks. Besides admiring sharks, I also feel sorry for them and I worry about them. Why? Because they are not the ones endangering us. Humans are the ones wreaking havoc on them. I have travelled all around the world with my cameraman and friend, Zsolt Sásdi. What we have found has gone beyond my wildest imagination.
