    I'm not sure if OpenShot would run on a Maemo. I don't know much about it. In theory, if it's a debian base, it should be able to run all of the dependencies I require. And thus... OpenShot should run.

    Thanks Jay! OpenShot itself is programmed in Python and GTK, which is cross-platform. However our video back-end (MLT Framework), only works on OSX and Linux. So, it's hard to say if we'll ever be on Windows. That really depends on the MLT framework, and what direction that project takes.

    Of course, I would recommend you get the newest copy of Ubuntu Linux, and install it as a dual boot. Then you can evaluate all the newest free, open-source apps.
