Opus is a specialist corporate and documentary film company based in Brighton and Hove, UK.

The company was founded by Stephen Matthews, who's combination of academic rigour (a PPE graduate specialising in Latin American Development and the Politics of Organisations) and visual flair and originality (Stephen was Editor on the BAFTA award-winning Peep Show, Chris Morris' 'Brasseye Special - Paedophilia' and 'best sketch show ever' 'Big Train') still powers the company.

Through our community programme we're proud to be able to offer creative, professional video to NGOs, social enterprises and ethical businesses at greatly reduced rates. We don't compromise on quality, we just see it as our contribution to what you do.

We're currently completing three documentary features :
'Dziady - In Search of Jan Dudek', which follows sculptor Robert Koenig as he tours his exhibition through Poland and Ukraine ; 'Time & Tide', a tale of history and intrigue as Brighton's West Pier rots before our eyes ; and 'The Ghosts of Cable Street', the story of the men and women who stopped the British fuhrer, Oswald Mosley, in his tracks.

We hope to see all three in a cinema near you through 2009.
