Orama

The school of Art & Photography Studies “ORAMA” was founded in 2007 by Frantzeskos Karagiannopoulos and Yiannis Rizomarkos in Athens, Greece. ORAMA is active in the field of art photography offering creative and vocational education.
Our main objective is to navigate the world of photography through a personal journey exploring the aesthetics and creative expression.
By careful monitoring of weekly lectures, our students have the opportunity to indulge in the technical and theoretical knowledge of photography; also they cultivate the criterion that allows them to communicate with themselves and the others in a fertile environment of mutual interaction, exchange and co-creation.
Through individual and group work based on contemporary topics, students are inspired to form photographic and artistic works, which deal with their emotions, broaden their outlook, reflect their vision and aesthetics. At the same time they gradually build important concepts such as balance, perspective and composition, that help them to move their creations one step further, defining in this way their personal style. Moreover, they are given the opportunity to acquire more specialized knowledge and skills through activities, small projects and workshops.
