Oreste Lattaro

Oreste Lattaro was born in 1951 in La Plata, Argentina. He studied Design of Visual Communication at Fine Arts College of Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Simultaneously
he is trained as actor and theatre director.
From 1978 until 1990 he is widely engaged in theatre production, and runs his own studio of Graphic design in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In the nineties he lives in Germany and Uzbekistan and works as graphic designer.
In 2003 he is living in Salvador-Bahia, Brazil, where he begins to experiment with video, being trained by the video artist Mônica Simões and the film director Ángel Díez.

Since 2004 he realizes several exhibitions in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay and is invited to festivals and biennales.

Since 2007 he lives and workes in Montevideo, Uruguay.
