Original Cultures is a non profit project based in London, UK and Bologna, Italy.
There are two sides to what we do, unified by an original idea and desire of connecting cultures through modern performing arts and more specifically Japan and Europe.
On one side we run unique live events, with each event inspired by this desire to connect cultures through modern performing arts. Events generally involve both music and visual arts, brought together in new, unique and imaginative ways.
On the other side we are a record label, since February 2012. The music we release is either tied to the events we do or if not it comes from a small pool of artists we work with around the world, some are old friends, others are new ones. All our releases, be they physical or digital, are special in some way or another.
