Otto Steininger lives and works as an illustrator and animator in New York City. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, the BBC and many other publications, including book covers, brochures and annual reports throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan and has won numerous awards. He has also designed two watches for Swatch and a book on rubber. Other projects include a campaign for Nike in Toronto and an animated TV spot for a Beethoven-Festival in Portugal and Japan. His spot “Carbon Footprint” was featured as one of three animated shorts at the Sequential show at the Society of Illustrators in New York.
