Pakmusic's journey began in 2002 when a couple of overseas Pakistani music fans decided to utilize their expertise in web designing and media hosting to churn out a premiere web portal that would help them share their passion for Pakistani music with other avid fans worldwide. The website has since evolved into a site full of busy activity, receiving thousands of hits per day.

As the website's popularity grew by day, so did the demands of Pakistani music fans for the latest music news and diverse media, thereby coercing Pakmusic into a new phase of diligent development. Numerous important collaborations with artists and media personnel in the Pakistani music industry have helped Pakmusic provide entertainment to its growing member base. We are the official Web Partners of ARY The Musik and Karachi's Radio 1 FM 91. We have collaborated with more than 50 Pakistani music artists in promoting their albums, news and media to their fans worldwide. Pakmusic.net administers sites of artists, providing their fans with regularly updated live websites. Pakmusic also is involved in organizing, advertising and covering Pakistani concerts worldwide.

It always gives the Pakmusic team immense pleasure to promote Pakistani artists and help them in their musical endeavours. The unrelenting dedication of the Pakmusic team has taken the name of Pakmusic to dizzying heights. Their continuous creative work and efforts have resulted in the launch of sister project sites like Pakmusic Radio, Pakcric and Sun Zara.

Since we started 7 years ago, Pakmusic has gotten 151,000 members, making it the biggest Pakistani music site in the world.
