Pam is a journalist and marketing communications consultant. She first began traveling to Palestine in 2007, visiting and volunteering in the West Bank with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) twice before entering Gaza for the first time as part of an International Women's Day delegation in 2009. Since then, she has returned three times, the longest time for six months, as a freelance writer and social media instructor for citizen journalists.
