The final product of almost half a year of shooting. I made this movie as a school assignment called the 100 point project of free choice. The inspiration to make a timelapse movie came from the beautiful footage by TSO Photography and the Timescapes crew.
Most of the scenes are shot in various places in Stockholm, Sweden, while some of the sunset scenes are from Thailand.

So I saw all of these pictures of that volcano in Iceland nobody can pronounce the name of, so I figured I should go and do something that is not news footage but something more cinematic. But the flights to get over took forever as expected (somewhat). 4 days after leaving I finally made it, but the weather was terrible for another 4. Just before leaving it got pretty good for about a day and a half and this is what I managed to get.

Dynamic Perception Stage Zero timelapse…
I debuted my new 2012 Timelapse Demo Reel at Rule Boston last night (March 22, 2012) as part my talk on Cinematic Time-Lapse Techniques. I captured this time-lapse during my talk on Cinematic Time-Lapses at Rule Boston's Pub Night on March 22nd.
Initially I set exposure with lights on as it was mentioned the lights would stay on. Light ultimately were turned off and since I didn't have the time to change camera settings the exposure of this time-lapse will give you 'what it looked like if you were there" look.
Filmed by Reid Ashton, this sample video imagery was created to show Fiat and other automobile companies our in-house capabilities. Reid created this video with a mixture of many mediums including, time lapse stills and video shot using his new Red camera.
