    Thank you, yes I agree. I am trying out a few things. I am curious about how much quality is lost when the file is made much smaller. It may be that I just don't have a complete understanding of how it all works. Thanks again for your input Paulo.

    Hello, I am trying to learn on my own about video. I was wondering if it is better for me ( quality wise and progressive download for viewing my video ) to upload a 5 minute video .mpg file 1gb in size. Or should I encode my video using windows media encoder, knocking it down to 167mb. My editing software is pinnacle 14 HD. When I export from pinnacle to my PC as a file, it is an mpeg-2 1080p. I thought I could upload that file to vimeo with out encoding it. Any input is appreciated. This is the video encoded... http://vimeo.com/7506638
