PAUL O’REILLY lives with his wife and children in Co. Wexford, Ireland.
In 2015 his debut collection of short stories The Way They Might Look at You will be published by Doire Press.
In 2012 his film script adaptation of the Claire Keegan short story Men and Women won the Film Offaly Award, and the completed film was selected for the 2013 Galway Film Fleadh and Irish Film Festival London. In 2014 the film was shown on national TV as part of the RTÉ 2 Shortscreen series.
In 2013 he released the documentary film Paddy Berry: The Singer, the Song and the Place to wide acclaim, excerpts broadcast on RTÉ.
In 2014 he released his next documentary, Eamonn Wall: Your Rivers Have Trained You, a clip of which had already been screened at the 2013 Galway Film Fleadh. Your Rivers Have Trained You was then selected in 2014 for the IndieCork Film Festival and the St Louis International Film Festival.
