Perrine Valli is of Swiss-French origin. She worked with choreographers Estelle Héritier and Cindy Van Acker with whom she danced in several original pieces. (“A5”, “Corps 00:00”, “Kernel”, “Nixe”…)
She set up her own company, Association Sam-Hester, in January 2005 and produced her first work “Ma cabane au Canada”. In 2006 she was awarded a four year residency within in the multi-disciplinary space Mains d’Oeuvres where she created her second piece “Série”. This piece was carried out in collaboration with the musician Colleen and was shown on stages in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Holland, Russia, Japan and Spain where it won first prize at the international choreography competition Masdanza.
Her third piece appeared in 2008 entitled “Je pense comme une fille enlève sa robe”. It was presented in 2010 at ADC-Genève, at Sudpol in Lucerne, at Mains d’Oeuvres in Paris. It obtained second place at the Premio choreography competition in Zurich. A study for this piece, called “Myouto” was shown in Marseille in the Théâtre des Bernardines, during the Faits d’Hiver festival in Paris, at the TPAM in Yokohama and the Institut franco-japonais in Tokyo.
