Peter is a storyboard artist, writer, cartoonist and award winning illustrator. He is best known for his children’s book illustrations; The Island, Fair Dinkum Histories, Spider!, I Wish I Had a Dinosaur and for his 29 years as an illustrator on the NSW Dept of Education’s The School Magazine. He has extensive experience in production design most recently as the storyboard artist on the feature film Beneath Hill 60. He was a layout artist for Hanna Barbera for many years on classics such as Top Cat, The Flintstones and Scooby Doo. He has won a Stanley Award, CBCA Honour Book Prize, three FACTS Awards and has been nominated twice for a Walkley Award for his artwork.
