La Compagnie des Phares & Balises was founded in 1992. All of its production choices have been steered by two guidind principles : curiosity and the desire to bring great films to the screen. It has become a key industry player, producing more than 300 documentaries focusing on historical events, social and political issues, art and investigations.
In 2007 the company began making and producing its own feature films. These works include the prestigious historical TV series “Nicolas Le Floch”.
