I am German of South-Indian descent and graduated with an M.A. in Communication Science, English Literature and German Literature. During my studies, I lived abroad in Honolulu, Hawaii, co-wrote a book about Israel and Palestine, and researched strategies to fight poverty in Bangalore, India. Early on, I started to write my first film treatments and taught myself how to be a writer and director. I completed the Academy for Children's Media in Erfurt as a writer and the Rutger Hauer Film Factory Rotterdam as a producer in 2009. I further worked on two features, the short story anthology "ABSCHIEDE - Five Goodbyes", which I mostly did next to my studies, and the POV drama "Pixelschatten - OUR LIFE IS ONLINE", which was produced by German TV channel ZDF and the production company Tag/Traum. I completed both features in 2011. I'm interested in filmmaking, good music and research of future technologies. I believe in the healing power of movies and that we all can make a difference.
