Alan began playing the piano at the age of 4 and passed his grade 8 ABRSM when he was 14. He then went on to study at Leeds College Of Music. He s now a full time professional pianist, composer and session musician. His work consists of both writing piano music for Music Library company JAL (Just Another Label) based in London and playing background piano music at all kinds of functions and events, specialising mainly in weddings and is Bride Magazines recommended wedding pianist for the Midlands. Alan has been the resident pianist at the well known Hoar Cross Hall for five years with other regular venues including Branston Pavillion, Chillington Hall and Dovecliff Hall.
