Pieter de Vries ACS is one of Australia's most noted cinematographers. Having worked with his camera in over seventy five countries worldwide, he enjoys an international reputation and has photographed many acclaimed television series over his career.
While cinematography is at the forefront, teaching video camera and lighting techniques has been an additional component of his work for the past six or so years.
Between various shooting commitments, he has delivered training courses to many aspiring cinematographers in various cities - Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Melbourne and Auckland New Zealand. When he is not shooting on locations he is teaching others his craft. Behind the camera one day - in front of audiences the next.
