“Because we always wanted to make movies…”

That's what each of us would tell you if you would ask us why we do what we´re doing.

Since we were children we dreamed of writing scripts, drawing storyboards, building props, engineering our own equipment as there is nothing better for us than shooting films, acting, making music, editing, working with SFX and so on…

Our paths crossed in 2004 (certainly it was Flambo the Film God who made them cross); made us become more than friends after immediately discovering that we´re
congenial twins.
Since then, we share and live this wonderful passion of filmmaking, in the very beginning always traveling to apparently inexhaustible fountains, first bubbling, than tirelessly effervescing thousands of ideas streaming into brainstorming-agitated creeks, work-flowing they become turbulent rivers getting bigger and bigger, giving us a solid water-based foundation to let handicraft independent films sail on them…

We frequently get asked: What does “Piropo” mean?
Piropo is a Spanish word which means “compliment” or “flattery”.

That´s what our films are meant to be, we want them to become small subliminal compliments to the beauty of pure arts, our modest attempt to pay homage to Mother Art.

“Why make movies?
Because we prefer each end of the beginning and have a bias towards the clean break of the soundtrack rather than to its fade-out”.
