Prano’s work is known for it unique boldness as she fuses a dark horror-esque vocabulary with a refreshing newness that shows how beauty can reside in strange places. Having worked devotedly as a director and editor since graduating from The London College of Printing (University of the Arts London), and with a background in art and theatre, Welsh-born Prano’s creative stamp is both technically polished and visually distinctive.
Her short films and music videos conjure up dark mythical worlds and have been recognized both in the UK and internationally. Splashed with unusual imagination, Prano’s films have won numerous awards including a UKMVA, Best Music Short at the London Short Film Festival, the British Horror Award and Best Director at UnderWire Festival, where she was tipped as one-to-watch by Film4.
Prano is represented for music videos and commercials by creative production company Gas and Electric. She is also represented as a video artist by The Woolff Gallery, a central London art gallery.
