“The Great L.A. Pretenders” is a Web Series told through the perspective of Dan Shirey (Sherman) and features Garikayi Mutambirwa (Felix), as a self-assured but unpredictable Frenchman. While working undercover with Felix on a mission about posers, Sherman becomes heinous about Los Angeles, a city synonym of ambition but full of narcissistic fake people who are not genuine and will do whatever it takes to make themselves look good.

Also rounding out the cast in the Twelve Minute Long caustic comedy are Nathan Marlow (Fernando) as a failed yuppie wannabe millionaire, Kara Chaput (Beverly) as a Paris Hiltonlike wannabe celebrity, Sherry Romito (Holly) as a talentless acting wannabe famous actress, Owen Williams (Glen) as the quintessential poor starving Hollywood wannabe actor and Gary Edward (Mr. Adams) as the Project’s imposing “Boss”.

Sometimes dark, often comedic and always witty “The Great L.A. Pretenders” strives for not only the glitzy Hollywood wannabe lifestyle and what lies underneath, but also the dreamers' relentless passion for money and fame and how psychologically unstable they become when they fail to reach their American dreams.
