Hailing from the South side of Chicago Illinois is Andrew "Prinze Genisiz" Grammer. An M.C./songwriter since he was 11 years of age, Genisiz was influenced by his uncle who was an aspiring disc jockey, and his mother (Dancer) and grandmother (piano player) who were both loyal fans of music. Genisiz was exposed to a wide selection of artist and composers from Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, to Quincy Jones and Phil Collins. During the emergence of the Hip-Hop era, Genisiz began being inspired by such artist as Kurtis blow, Kool Moe Dee, LL Cool J, Rakim, KRS-1, Public Enemy, NWA, Ice-Cube and many of the other founding members of the Hip-Hop culture. What had the most impact on Genisiz the most was the rise of child stars in Hip-Hop such as Chi Ali, Kriss Kross, ABC (Another Bad Creation) and Da Youngsters because they were his age at the time of thier careers and that motivated Genisiz to begin writing his own lyrics at 11. Genisiz entered and won B-boy dancing competitions and even won an award for a poetry contest sponsored by his school and local park district, but even with all of that inspiration "The Prinze" could not avoid the gravitaional pull of the gang and drug infested neighborhoods of his hometown.

In the year 1993 (at age 16), Genisiz was arrested, charged and convicted of a gang related felony and was consequently sentenced to 25 years in the Illinois State prison system with the eligibility for parole after12 1/2 years (depending on "good Behavior"). After realizing the seriousness of his situation, Genisiz made the best of his sentence by obtaining his G.E.D and college degree and spent the rest of his time developing his writng talents plus studying up on the music industry. Genisiz crafted his own style by rap battling other fellow convicted M.C.s and sharpened his skills by learning how to write hooks, verses and developing concepts. In July 2005, Genisiz was released from prison to pick up where he left off at 16, and pursue his career as a rap artist.

Genisiz has been working the underground circuit in his hometown of Chicago since his release. He had put together a successful demo, and compiled his first very impressive mix-CD ("Angyl Wit A Derrty Fase" Book 1) in the summer of 2007. He was featured on the underground Hip-Hop Podcast station "Hood-Hype.com"( episode 42) and was praised for his crafty wordplay yet controversial lyrics and smooth but aggressive delivery. In the fall of 2007, Genisiz moved to Atlanta Georgia to further pursue his carreer, but since his arrival, Prinze Genisiz has discovered two more talents that he is now polishing,..... producing/composing music and audio engineering. All of those elements at work has culminated into his latest mix-CD "Angyl Wit A Derrty Fase" Book 2 and the yet untitled debut LP due to release this summer on his independent recording label The 7th Dynazty Muzik Group LLC.

Prinze Genisiz has been through the proverbial "hell and back" and his music reflects his anger, frustration and lifes' struggle. However, "The Prinze" considers himself "humble and introspective" in his approach to help fans understand his out-look on the many issues of life itself. Though harsh in his expression at times, Genisiz seems to be attempting to convey a message to his fans and critics alike by "telling his story the way he lived it, not the way he wished it were"........ prinzegenisiz
