Hernan Vietri - Visual effects artist

After studying art, photography and visual effects, Hernan Vietri has worked in some of the largest postproduction companies and advertising agencies in Quebec and combines more than 10 years of experience.

His work experience is vast: from advertising, to the small and big screen: Spy Kids 2, Cursed, Fantastic Four, 300. He even developed techniques and tools to create stereoscopic images when he was working on the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D at Meteor Studios.

His Argentine roots led him to lead a team of visual effects artists in one of the largest postproduction studio in Buenos Aires (Encuadre) on a television series for Fox Channel: City Hunter. Project on which he worked with his collaborator of the last years, Carlos Baeza, director of several episodes of the popular television series The Simpsons.

Hernan Vietri has also lent his expertise to the biggest names in the arts by participating in the creation of visual effects for the show of CHER in Las Vegas and for Tina Turner’s world tour.

Boasting a certain notoriety in his field, he is recommended by the renowned German group Sciences D-Vision (sci-d-vis.com), developer of software 3D Equalizer, for its qualities as a special effects artist.

He founded PROXY in 2007.
