My passion as an artist is to illuminate unspoken issues that inspire empathy, community dialogue, and social change.
I utilize the medium of documentary film to revolutionize the learning process from passively receiving information into active participation where the viewer has a genuine first hand experience with the topic. My films often deal with uncommon subject matters and aim to inspire one to identify with sincere characters facing the more obscure, raw issues of life -- to walk in the shoes of a stranger from across the world, the country, or even their own neighborhood.
As a filmmaker, I am honored to hear people’s stories – to have the opportunity to see life through their eyes and to present those stories through my art. It is my goal to focus on, and highlight, the overlooked yet profound subtleties of daily life and thereby inspire people to live each day with motivation and intentionality.
