Raja Shah is a Florida native who is currently working as an associate producer for Hare in the Gate Productions in Portland, OR. Having traveled throughout his life, he developed a keen interest in architecture while living abroad in Barcelona in 2003. This fascination in structure evolved into a desire to create films. Since then, he has produced a few short documentaries for nonprofit organizations such as Oregon Food Bank and RARE.
Raja creates his films by allowing the visuals to narrate for him. A strong interest in color dictates the composition of many of his films. Some of his influences are Bruce Lee, Mahavira, and Jim Jarmusch.
