I am a true video-amateur who is on Vimeo only to share good moments with family and friends. For privacy reasons most (if not all) videos are password protected (10.01.2011).

If you want the password for a specific movie, please contact me on vimeo.com (Create an account and send me a message). Please explain who you are in the message as I will not give out any passwords to people I do not know.

Please note that the videos cannot be embedded anywhere but have to be played in Vimeo. This has been done primarily to try to prevent private events from appearing in Google search results. Only time will tell if it will work.

Short about tools I use:

2007 - Pinnacle Studio Pro 12, Asus VX2S, SONY HDR-SR7E. AVCHD converted to MPEG-2. The result was horrible.

June 2009 - HDR-XR520E purchased.

May 2010 - Dell Studio XPS (i7, 8GB, SSD) purchased together with SONY Vegas Pro 9. Shortly afterward Cineform HD was installed to convert AVCHD to AVI for lossless editing. Cineform's consumer product is HIGHLY recommended for anyone thinking about converting AVCHD to AVI or MOV. Simply great quality!

December 2010 - Upgraded to SONY Vegas Pro 10. December 2011 - Upgradet to...yeah...Pro 11. Got to hang in there...

My next tool will probably be a SLR with full HD support or the SONY NEX-VG10E or similar. Not going to happen in 2012 unless a miracle happens....
