A little about me. Ralph Williams...

I have worked as a graphic designer for the last 25 years.
Duties range from illustrating aerospace components and schematics, to designing annual report and newspaper publications. The last position being a graphic production designer
for a major newspaper in Long Beach, The Press-Telegram.

During those 7 years I worked on major advertising accounts such as Pacific Ford Auto Sales, ReMax Real Estate, Massey Cadillac and I was directly responsible for developing advertisement concepts, creating or acquiring artwork, and color correcting photos.
I worked on computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, and Indesign. My natural artistic skill level oftentimes allowed me opportunities to develop relationships with Sales Reps that would choose my creative work-style consistently. Last year the company experienced downsizing, and had to let go of whole departments.

I decided to use my experience in graphics and go in a new direction of T.V. Media. I have recently completed training courses, which have introduced me to media communication industry tools such as Final Cut Pro editing, Lyric Chyron Graphics, Technical Director's video switcher, proper studio lighting and audio sound control techniques, and various professional video camera operations. I enjoy this new medium so much I have purchased my own equipment.

I have developed a small body of work that highlights my production, directing, and editing skills. My artistic and technical background has prepared me for this career. These projects are exciting and I look forward to putting my skills to work on one of your projects soon.
