Photography arrived quite late in my life, but fortunately passions are timeless. At 25 I took a camera in my hands, not knowing that my desire would be to keep it there forever. Taking pictures has become something that goes beyond the simple realization of images and has deeply changed my way of experiencing life.
My excitement in photography turned into a journey of self-directed studying. Wanting to learn about art and photography I obtained my first photography books. I am constantly challenging myself to look forward and think outside the box.
I feel there has been a recent decline in beauty and elegance within the photography world. To much focus is being put on visually shocking or striking the viewer. My aim is to make my photography beautiful rather than superficially exciting.
