Red Town Productions, a New York company founded in 2008 by David Murray, provides video post-production, production, interactive and web services. Red Town currently resides at the Film Center building in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen.
Red Town serves an array of clientele, ranging from major television networks and video production houses, to record labels, corporate sales departments and law firms, to promising entrepreneurs, writers and producers.
David has been working as an editor, designer and producer since 2003, when he designed motion graphics for the Super Bowl halftime show, the MTV Video Music Awards and the CMT Flameworthy Awards (Liquid Theory). He brings a variety of skills outside of motion graphics and editing that include 3-D animation, dvd menu design and authoring, Blu-Ray Menu design and flash design and programming. David was the talent behind award-winning commercials for Fox Fuel and Warner Music Group.
Prior to founding Red Town, David was Senior Editor and Art Director at The Rust Company. There he led a full redesign of the company brand, including logo design, and led post-production efforts for many commercials, projects, shows and digital signage for MTV, Comedy Central and SpikeTV. In addition, he directed six Electronic Press Kits (EPK) for the horror film Blood Red Earth on Fearnet.
Red Town’s recent clients include EMI Music Publishing, ESPN International, The Nate Berkus Show, MTV, Razor and Tie, and BAM Media Services (South Park, Christies, World Series of Poker, SpongeBob, MTVNE, Comedy Central, SpikeTV), Rust Company (Macallan, Remy Martin), Marchand Media.
