Vince Parenti began his career in entertainment in 1992. He went from the stage, to television, to movies, and back again. His experience in all aspects of storytelling has kept him busy since his beginning. The first project he worked on was James Mangold's acclaimed first film HEAVY. After spending five years in theatre, Vince met Harriet Greenspan from Spelling Television and he decided to move to Los Angeles to work on SUNSET BEACH. While in Los Angeles, Vince began writing scripts while working odd-jobs on MELROSE PLACE, ALLY MCBEAL, and dozens of independent films. In January of 1998, he landed a job on GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Then ten screenplays later, Vince was hired to write a feature adaptation entitled ROSE IN MY FAMILY starring Joan Collins. Although it was shelved, that experience led him to various writing jobs, including rewriting indie feature PORTRAIT OF EVE, where he received his first writing credit. Shortly thereafter, Vince began shooting a series of excerpts from his screenplays, which led him to form his production company Reverie Pictures. Then in 2006, Vince won his first award, placing 3rd in the Best Low-Budget Film category for feature THE LONGEST YARD SALE, from Houston Worldfest Film Festival. Since this project, Vince has expanded his knowledge, via the advancements in technology, and began applying the use of visual effects in storytelling on many projects from fortune 500 companies, to indie films.

In February 2009, Vince then seized an opportunity to enter the rapidly growing craze of television festivals, with the hope of appearing in its premiere festival the NY Television Festival (NYTVF). In three short months, Vince created a TV pilot GREEN ROOM, which not only made it into the NYTVF, but has won 2 awards, including Best TV Pilot, in it’s first 4 festival appearances.

Currently, Vince uses his spare time to write screenplays, create visual FX, and 3d animation. He also teaches acting, and occasionally appears on selection committees for various film festivals.
