richard kohler is a photographer and director of photography working in the usa, caribbean, latin america and europe. he specializes in architecture, lifestyle, fashion photography and film. after several years working and studying as an architect he found in photography a new passion which led him to travel and discover new boundaries in which architecture is still a big part of him. studied his bachelor of architecture at the university of miami and then his master of science in architecture and urban design at columbia university in new york. his passion for photography started earlier in his life, like an artist finds its tool, richard found photography as a way of expressing what he sees and feels around him.
