Robertina Šebjanič

- Since 2008 works as part of the collective at LJUDMILA, co-ordinator and head of art and educational (Edu_Lab, Free-Circuit and Digital Dish) activities at LJUDMILA digital media lab.

The context for her ideas and concepts is often realised in collaboration with other authors, and thus through interdisciplinary and informal integration embodies in her work.
In her projects she explores various media such as video and ambiental installations and more broadly conceived cross media / technology within the context of contemporary art practice.

She has presented her work on solo exhibitions as well as taken part in international exhibitions and festivals (Prima Gallery Berlin, Gallery SC - Zagreb, Netaudio festival-London, Likovni salon Gallery -Celje. Gallery Akatraz- Ljubljana, Paraflows - Vienna, Haip - Ljubljana, Amber - Istanbul, The Museum of contemporary art of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, Gallery KiBela, Kibla -Maribor, SCCA - Ljubljana etc..).

Robertina had studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design and at Famul Stuart - both Ljubljana, Slovenia based schools. In academic year 2005/2006 she had studied at the Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden.

As a member of Temp group (2005-2006) she had participated in public interventions and installations, in the development of strategies for alternative use of abandoned spaces.

2006 - 2009 she was part of board of editors of Pojmovnika slovenske umetnosti po letu 1945 / The Glossary of Slovene Art from 1945. In 2007 Robertina
received the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design award.

Since 2011 she is part of Theremidi Orchestra.
