Rob Wuesthoff
Rob Wuesthoff is a producer, writer and top level actor who started his career in the theater department at Long Beach City College in the early 1980's under the direction of Shashin Desai, Jan Quinn and James DePreist. He studied with James Wilson at South Coast Repertory Theater in Orange County before moving north to Los Angeles.
In the mid 1980's Rob began studying with Scott-Arthur Allen and Kathryn Daley at Creative Actors Workshop in Burbank, Ca. where he perfected his craft. "Creative Actors was the most comprehensive training an actor can get. We prepared and performed three different pieces every week. The experience was amazing," Rob recalls.
In 1990 Rob followed Kathryn Daley for more private coaching and showcasing, and was cast by Mark Teschner for General Hospital directly from a showcase. "I played a photographer at a Cristening and had dialogue with the entire cast, like 15 people...it was like stepping into a tornado," he explains. "That was (at the time) my proudest accomplishment."
In 1991 Rob left the entertainment industry and began contracting as a licensed general contractor, which he enjoyed for the last 18 years.
Recently, in June 2009, Rob returned to acting and has found enormous success. In his first 6 months back he auditioned for 18 projects and was cast in 15 of them, including NAPOLEON'S CHARM, a short by famed Italian director Stefano Cipani. He is currently producing WHILE GOD IS WATCHING US, as well as a documentary about the making of it. His company POSSIBILITY ENTERTAINMENT is opening a full service studio in the Long Beach area where they will begin shooting and producing a slue of projects. In the spring of 2010 Possibility Entertainment produced its first series titled ITALIAN BROTHERS, and is now putting together the Long Beach International Film Festival, Convention and Jobs Expo, "Our mission is turn the National economy around by first turning the local economy around. The Long Beach International Film Festival will celebrate the enormous financial impact that motion pictures have on commerce and in creating jobs."
Rob is also collaborating on many projects with other talented writers and directors, and is putting together an entertainment network called Possibility Entertainment Network which will launch in early 2011.
