Mark W. Gray

Mark has been making films since his childhood in Indianapolis, Indiana. Soon after graduating from the University of Southern California School of Cinema, Mark became a Director of Photography, shooting a dozen feature length films by the time he was 30. He has worked in many genres, including Action, Science Fiction, Drama, and Comedy. His films include Dark Rider, Prototype X29A, A.P.E.X., Straight to the Heart, Back to Back, and Firetrap, as well as MOWs for NBC, CBS, and the Disney Channel.
As a Writer and Director, Mark has created many hilarious short films that have become film festival and internet favorites over the past few years. (You can see all of these films, and lots of other great stuff, at rocketpictures.net)
In recent years he has become a fixture at the Cannes Film festival in France, where he created and produced the popular video podcast The Rocket Pictures Cannes Report. He is also the Director of the Cannes 24 Hour Film Challenge, where aspiring filmmakers create short films in only one-day to be screened at a gala event which has become one of the must-attend events at the festival.
