Ronnie Minder is a Swiss born, Australian based composer having started his music career over a decade ago. He signed his first record contract in 2001 for the single "Tha-P-Anthem" which established his name in electronic music. Shortly after release, he signed his second contract with Swiss music label Harem Records and his single "Listen To The Sound" peaked at #1 in the Music Mail Distribution Charts (Germany) 2001.
In the following years Ronnie continued to release music, signing to record labels across the world. (Mondo Records UK, Bpm Nl Netherlands, Cases Records Germany and Afterglow Records UK.) In 2009 Ronnie composed the opening music for the Choir Of Hard Knocks concert at Hi-Sense Arena in Melbourne, which reignited his childhood dream of making music for the screen. Having spent countless hours listening to artists such as Vangelis, Oldfield and Klaus Doldinger, Ronnie embarked on the path to screen composing.
It didn't take long for Ronnie to compose for his first feature, his scoring debut for David King's "Purge" is now being distributed by Troma Entertainment in the US (Lloyd Kaufman). Immediately following this success, Ronnie composed the score for "The Mirror Effect", a documentary telling the story about Jewish immigrants coming to Australia.
Peter Jackson and Mark Pennell (Production partner of Hugh Jackman) put Ronnie on their books for composing. He was also signed by one of Hollywood's leading agencies for film trailer composition and he is now creating music for trailers, short films, feature films and documentaries.
Ronnie just finished composing the score for "Letter To Annabelle" (exec. produced by Scott Hamilton) and the film is now being entered in all major film festivals around the globe. In the next few months Ronnie will be composing for several feature films, short films, trailers and documentaries.
