Royal Society of New Zealand Plus
Our goal is to promote science, technology and the humanities in schools, in industry and in society. We award medals, grants and fellowships to excellent researchers, teachers and students.
We encourage science education in schools and run public programmes, including lectures, to promote the benefits of research. We administer the prestigious Marsden Fund for research, publish science journals, offer independent advice to Government, and foster international scientific contact and co-operation.
Our elected Fellows, Members, Companions, and regional and constituent societies are the foundation of our organisation, providing valuable expertise.
Our history dates back to 1867
