Randolph Sellars Plus
I have over 30 years of experience photographing hundreds of projects all over the United States and 10 countries around the world. I have photographed 23 feature films as a first or second unit Director of Photography. I’ve also shot narrative and documentary style television projects for all of the major networks and cable channels including NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, BBC, HBO, MTV, Showtime, Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic. In addition, I have numerous commercial, corporate, and documentary film credits.
Several projects that I’ve shot have won prestigious awards, including an Academy Award (short film, camera operator) and an Emmy (Christmas special, camera operator). The feature film The Juniper Tree, was a Grand Jury finalist at the Sundance Film Festival and was singer/actress Bjork’s first feature film. I was honored when I was selected to film the Dalai Lama when he received a Congressional Gold Medal from the President in Washington, DC. My images were webcast live to a world-wide audience.

The reason that the Sony F3 with S-log looks brighter than the Canon at equivalent ISO's is that the S-log increases the native ISO (at 0db) from 800 to 1600. Notice that the Abel PP is darker at each db level. To compare
