Rob Sorrenti is an award-winning film-maker. His film debut, 'Wednesday' was exec produced by four-time Oscar nominated director, Stephen Daldry. To date, the film has been screened at 50 film festivals worldwide, and won a raft of awards. It also earned him a nomination for Channel 4's Young Talent Award for best director.
Rob's second short film, 'Hollow', has been officially selected for more than 25 film festivals. The film received three awards at the Oscar accredited Rhode Island International Film Festival (2011), including the much coveted 'Film Maker of the Future' award. Hollow also won Best Short Film at the European Spiritual Film Festival (2012) and the People’s Choice Award at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival (2012).
Other credits include, The Real Billy Eliot Diaries, a documentary broadcast on ITV to an audience of 2 million and he’s directed featurettes for a raft of major motion pictures, including Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason, Pride & Prejudice, United 93, Bourne Ultimatum, Atonement, Rock N Rolla, Green Zone and 47 Ronin.
Rob also directed digital content for hit shows Him & Her, Rev and Death in Paradise. He was reunited with Stephen Daldry in 2012 to make a film about the spirit and legacy of the London Olympics.
Rob is now developing his first feature.
