This is a great test. Though not charts as you said, it gives the side by side which is great. I saw more softness on the edges with the HD lens vs the YJ on the shots with the standard B4/m43 adapter. I was really impressed with the YJ in this footage. M

I think you've found the correct setting. You will be getting a full 1 to 1 1920x1080 HD crop from that setting. You shouldn't see any sharpness loss at all at this setting. I didn't realize that there were different ETC modes but evidently there are. The

Sorry , What do you mean by that? I just figured out a way to eliminate vignetting. I'm not sure if it is the right way,with x1 on lens: 1. activate ETC on GH2 2. select exSm (16:9 S 2M) Do you think the quality will be decreased in this way?
